Rock Hill, S.C. – Winthrop fell on Senior Day on Saturday afternoon to the Furman Paladins by a final score of 16-9. Winthrop moves to 1-12 and 1-5 in the Big South with two regular-season games remaining, both on the road. HOW IT HAPPENED The visiting Paladins led 4-2 at the end of the first quarter, with the two Eagle goals being scored by Lexi Johnson and Ellie Dutton.
