Middle Tennessee can’t overcome early deficit against Liberty

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — A pair of early home runs by the Liberty Flames (25-16, 14-3) proved to be too much for Middle Tennessee State (18-26, 5-12) to overcome as the Blue Raiders dropped the second game of a three-game set 5-1.
