Middle Tennessee can’t overcome early deficit against Liberty
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — A pair of early home runs by the Liberty Flames (25-16, 14-3) proved to be too much for Middle Tennessee State (18-26, 5-12) to overcome as the Blue Raiders dropped the second game of a three-game set 5-1. Liberty's Megan Fortner and Raigan Barrett provided the first three runs of the game via the long ball in the first two innings.
