Olivia Jalbert Achieves Record Tie at Penmen Relays with Zoe Barnes Standing Out
MANCHESTER, N.H. – Senior Olivia Jalbert (Auburn, Maine/Edward Little) tied the University of Southern Maine program record for the high jump on Saturday at the SNHU Penmen Relays by clearing 1.63m. Jalbert’s mark ties the record set by Hillary Hall on April 13, 2011, and is currently tied for 17th in NCAA Division III. Jalbert also won the long jump with a distance of 5.27m. Junior Zoe Barnes (New Gloucester, Maine/Gray-New Gloucester) also won two events for the Huskies with first place marks in the shot put (12.50m) and discus (42.36m).
