Smithson Valley captures district title, fends off Canyon 8-6
In the second and final meeting of its season series, Smithson Valley softball defeated Canyon 8-6 on the road Friday night. The win gives Smithson Valley the outright District 26-5A championship while still riding an 11-game win streak (24-6 overall, 11-1 in district).
