Track and Field Competes at Duke Invitational

DURHAM, N.C. – Several members of the Newberry College Track and Field team competed at the three-day Duke Invitational over Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The highest-finishing Wolf throughout the week was Kegan Crowell in the discus event. Crowell's throw of 51.74 meters (169 feet, 9 inches) placed him third in a field comprised of nearly all Division I members. Crowell was also 17th in the hammer throw.
