University of Southern Maine Athletes Dominate Penmen Relays with Record-Breaking Performances

MANCHESTER, N.H. – Two University of Southern Maine program records fell on Saturday as graduate student William Carrolton (Bath, Maine/Morse) broke his own discus record and senior Ethan Shain (Sanford, Maine) broke the 100-meter dash record at the SNHU Penmen Relays. Carrolton had a throw of 48.41m to win the discus and also won the shot put at 14.29m. Shain clocked a time of 10.81 seconds in the prelims.
