UTD Men’s Tennis Defeats HSU 7-2

ABILENE, Texas – The UT Dallas men’s tennis team won 7-2 against Hardin-Simmons at the Streich Tennis Center Saturday afternoon. The host Cowboys (7-11) took two of the three doubles points from the Comets (7-3). Andres Gonzalez and Benjamin Dubois won in a tiebreaker 8-7 (7-5) at the top spot. UTD went on to sweep through singles play with most of the matches being close. Gonzalez topped Justus Petersilie 6-4, 6-2 at number one and Nathan Qi defeated Luke Cantu 6-3, 6-1 at two.
