Women’s Lacrosse Holds AIC Nearly Scoreless in 21-1 Decision

Springfield, Mass. - Bouncing back from its loss earlier in the week, the no. 3 Adelphi University women's lacrosse program held American International College nearly scoreless, taking a 21-1 decision on Saturday afternoon. Extending its all-time record against the Yellow Jackets to 19-0, nine different players scored en route to an almost perfect game. Kerrin Heuser , Alexandra Leggio and Ashley Kolomechuk all contributed four goals apiece, with Leggio leading the way with eight points overall.
