Women’s Lacrosse: Red Dragons Rout Golden Eagles, 16-4, with Strong Second Half

CORTLAND, N.Y. – The Cortland women’s lacrosse team outscored Brockport, 9-1, over the final 30 minutes in earning a 16-4 victory in SUNYAC action Saturday afternoon at Grady Field. The Red Dragons improved to 9-4 overall and 6-0 in the conference. The Golden Eagles dropped to 7-5 and 4-2. Amy Hoeffner (Bay Shore) and Rachel Janis (Laurel/Mattituck) each totaled six points for Cortland. Hoeffner finished with four goals and two assists, while Janis tallied a goal and five assists.
