Women’s Rowing Captures Two Second-Place Finishes

WORCESTER, Mass. – Four boats represented the Colgate women's rowing team in competition against Holy Cross and Smith on Saturday morning on Lake Quinsigamond. Colgate's 1V8 and 1V4 boats captured second place finishes, while its 2V8 finished third and the 3V8 placed fourth. The varsity eight set the tone with a time of 7:09.8, besting Smith's time of 7:24.5 and trailing only first-place Holy Cross' first-place time of 7:08.9.
