Women’s Track & Field Finishes First at Friday Night Under the Lights

TROY, N.Y.- The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) wmen’s track & field team took first place overall at the RPI Friday Night Under the Lights meet at Harkness Field. RPI posted three individual wins and a relay victory on the night. Christine Mallette took the win in the 200-meter dash in 26.03 seconds, while Tessa Bossom crossed the line first in the 5000-meter with a time of 18:46.60. Kylie Allen bested the shot put field with a best distance of 11.86 meters. The Engineer grouping of Katie Manning , Alyssa Fici , and Lauren Szalkowski joined Mallette to claim first place…
