Billingham Breaks 18-Hole Record as Men’s Golf Wins Pioneer Classic; Women Finish Fourth in their Field
MARIETTA, Ohio – The Capital University golf teams took on the Pioneer Classic on Saturday and Sunday, traveling east to the Marietta Country Club to compete. The men’s team came in at the top of the leaderboard with the second-lowest 36-hole score in Capital history at 578, shooting 298 in round one and the third-lowest 18-score of 288 in round two. The women’s team would finish fourth in their five-team field with a first round of 389 and a second round of 358 for a total of 745.
