Blues defeat Wildcats in Walla Walla

WALLA WALLA, Wash. – Whitman led from nearly start to finish in a 16-6 Northwest Conference victory over visiting Linfield on Sunday afternoon at James Hayner Field. Mackenzie Kulick and Maizri Chandler led the offensive effort with two goals each. Savannah Irwin and Maya Wright combined for the other two Linfield goals. Kulick finished with a team-high three ground balls while Gabby Crist caused two turnovers. Whitman (9-4, 5-4 NWC) outshot Linfield 37-19. Tenley Hodge totaled five saves.
