WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. - Monmouth defeated Campbell 16-8 Sunday afternoon at Kessler Stadium. Campbell (3-12, 0-6 CAA) jumped out to a 3-1 lead to open the game behind two goals from Shea Saracino and another from Hailey Kohlmann. The Hawks (6-8, 2-5) responded by closing the first period with three straight goals and outscoring Campbell 4-1 in the second quarter to take a 8-4 advantage into halftime.
