Depolito Places First in 10K at Monks Invite

STANDISH, Maine – Sophomore Lucy Depolito (North Andover, Mass.) placed first in the 10,000 meters on Sunday at the Monks Track & Field Invitational hosted by Saint Joseph's College of Maine. Depolito clocked a time of 42:44.54 in her first time running the event in her collegiate career. Three members of the University of Southern Maine women's track & field team competed in the hammer throw at the event. Senior Alexis Kailey (Epping, N.H.) placed third with a mark of 37.32m.
