Gidlow and Anderson win at No. 2 doubles in women’s tennis’s 8-1 loss to No. 31 Colby

LEWISTON, Maine — Junior Liv Gidlow and first-year Julia Anderson won at No. 2 doubles but the visiting Colby College Mules defeated the Bates women’s tennis team 8-1 Sunday afternoon in NESCAC action. Gidlow (Shaker Heights, Ohio) and Anderson (Chevy Chase, Md.) teamed up for just the second time this season and rolled to an 8-4 victory over the Colby team of Michaela Landry and Isabella Suk.
