Knights Halt Losing Streak with Win in Game Two of Split with Skidmore
Potsdam, NY – Starting early to avoid afternoon rain, the Clarkson University Baseball team and Skidmore College played two fairly quick low-scoring games in cold damp weather with the Thoroughbreds coming out on top in the opener 5-2 and the Golden Knights claiming the second game 4-1 at Jack Phillips Stadium. The Golden Knights moved to 8-14 overall while Skidmore saw its record go to 14-10. Clarkson is scheduled for a non-league nine-inning game against SUNY Canton on Wednesday and then has a three-game set versus Hobart College next Friday and Saturday, all at home.
