Leithead Stellar Pitching Leads Bearcats to Split Against Panthers

Springfield, Mo . – The SBU softball team returned to action after a week off Sunday afternoon as they traveled down Highway 13. The Bearcats took on their rivals in Drury Panthers, splitting the doubleheader moving to 17-25 (6-12 GLVC) on the season. It was a close battle in game one, as the Bearcats took the lead early but were unable to finish it out as they fell 2-4. Southwest Baptist out hit the Panthers 10-5.
