Mammoths finish 12th at Skidmore’s Brown Invitational

SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY — Amherst College first-year Leland Tsai shot a 1-under 70 Sunday to lead the Mammoths’ men’s golf team to a 12th-place finish at Skidmore College’s Dr. Tim Brown Invitational held at the Ballston Spa Country Club. The Mammoths shot a team total 292 Sunday after firing a 299 in the tournament’s opening round Saturday/ Tsai and sophomore Paari Kaviyarasu , who shot an even-par 71 on Sunday, finished tied for 25th-place on the individual player’s leader board. Trinity College won the event with a two-day team total of 566. Amherst finished with a two-day total of 591.…
