Men’s Track & Field: Scots Take on Minnesota State Open and UW-Platteville Invitational

MANKATO, Minn. – The Macalester men’s track & field team competed at two meets this weekend. Several Scots competed in the 5000m at the UW-Platteville Invitational on April 12 and the rest of the team competed at the Minnesota State Open. At the UW-Platteville Invitational, junior Reece McKee (Charlotte, Va./Charlottesville) set a personal record in the 5000m with a time of 14:42.50. This time is the second-best all-time in Macalester history. Sophomore Tyler Edwards (Beaverton, Ore./Oregon Episcopal) took 76 th with a time of 14:53.22.
