No. 50 women’s tennis rolls past Guilford to stay unbeaten in ODAC play
GREENSBORO, N.C. — No. 50 Averett University women’s tennis remained undefeated by sweepting Guilford College 9-0 in Old Dominion Athletic Conference action Sunday afternoon. Averett (12-4, 8-0 ODAC) got an 8-0 win at No. 1 doubles from junior Keira Gunning and sophomore Elisa Battermann , an 8-1 victory at No. 2 from freshman Jennika Jaison and sophomore Harshri Asher and an 8-2 win at No. 3 by sophomores Brenda Poulakidas and Franka Keil .
