Pioneers Sweep Pitt-Greensburg

Bolivar, NY- The Alfred State Baseball team swept Pitt-Greensburg in today’s doubleheader. In game one the Pioneers won 8-0, then in game two Alfred State won 8-2. The Pios are now 9-20 on the season. In game one, Ryan Bailey pitched a complete 7.0 inning shutout. Baliey tallied eight strikeouts while holding the Bobcats to two hits. Connor Kiefer led the way, going 2-3 with three RBIs and a double. Jack Curabba went 2-2 with an RBI and two doubles.
