Pitt Drops Rubber Match to North Carolina
PITTSBURGH – Pitt dropped to North Carolina, 8-1, in the series finale rubber match at Vartabedian Field Sunday afternoon. The Panthers were held to one run on six hits and committed four errors. Kylie Griggs hit a leadoff double and Amanda "Tuta" Ramirez hit a single to left field to put the Panthers up 1-0 in the bottom of the first inning.
