Pointers Swept at Stout in Series Finale
MENOMONIE, Wis. – The No. 24 UW-Stevens Point baseball team (15-7, 7-3) were swept on Sunday by UW-Stout (9-13, 5-10). The Pointers were walked-off on in the opener, 7-6, before dropping game two, 7-3. Anthony Tomczak (Muskego, Wis./Muskego) hit a home run in each game, two of UWSP’s five home runs on the day. Tyler Soule (Oregon, Wis./Oregon) , Jackson Adams (Janesville, Wis./Janesville Craig) and Jakob Boos (Littleton, Colo./Heritage) each hit a long ball for the Pointers.
