Querol leads Mavericks to win at the Maverick Challenge

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – The Colorado Mesa women's golf team finished up regular season play as they hosted the Maverick Challenge at Tiara Rado Golf Course on Saturday (Apr. 13) and Sunday (Apr. 14) afternoon. The Mavericks defeated Adams State in the challenge as both teams were originally scheduled to compete in South Dakota, but weather and postponements changed those plans. The Mavericks shot 306 in their first round on Saturday before facing windier and tougher conditions in Sunday's final round where they shot a 331.
