AUGUSTINE – Phillip Ard's home run to lead off the fourth inning proved to be the game-winning hit as the University of North Georgia defeated Flagler College 3-1 in a Peach Belt Conference baseball game Sunday afternoon at Drysdale Field. North Georgia salvaged the last game of the series to improve to 27-14 overall and 14-7 in conference play. Flagler won the series and is now 19-21 overall and 11-10 in conference play.
