Softball Drops MEAC Series Finale at Howard
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Coppin State's softball team dropped the rubber game of a three-game MEAC series against league-leading Howard, 10-2 on Sunday afternoon at Washington Nationals Youth Academy. The Eagles (16-15, 11-4 MEAC) are now two games back of the Bison and Morgan State in the conference standings. Five different players had a base hit for Coppin with Seryna Esparza and Brooklyn Tapusoa recording doubles.
