Softball Stumbles in Series Finale at Rider

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – Following a doubleheader shutout sweep on Saturday to begin a weekend series, Siena Softball struggled in the finale against a conference rival. The Saints (21-12, 7-4) dropped a 3-1 decision to Rider at Herb & Joan Young Field in Lawrenceville, New Jersey on Sunday afternoon. The Green and Gold initially struggled to get going offensively after cruising to 6-0 and 8-0 wins to open the weekend.
