ST. PAUL, Minn. — The St. Catherine University tennis team played their first match on their home outdoor courts on Sunday afternoon hosting Gustavus Adolphus College. Gustavus defeated St. Kate’s 8-1 putting the Wildcats conference record at 4-3 and 8-4 overall. Sofia Walker clinched a dominating win at No. 2 singles with a score of 4-6, 6-0, 10-7. Walker and Kelsey Dorr also forced the tiebreaker at No. 1 doubles falling 8-7 (7-5). Following suit, Dorr was defeated in the tiebreaker at No. 1 singles falling 6-3, 3-6, 5-10.
