Tennis sweeps Clarion on the road, 7-0
CLARION, Pa. – The Lock Haven tennis team swept Clarion, 7-0, on the road in a non-conference match on Sunday afternoon (April 14). The Bald Eagles improve to 6-3 overall, while Clarion falls to 1-8. The Bald Eagles started the sweep by taking all doubles matches to earn the match point. No. 1 doubles consisted of Mia Shuler (Williamsport, Pa./Williamsport) and Olivia Anastos (Lock Haven, Pa./Central Mountain), who won 6-2, improving their team record to 4-3. Olivia Sharp (York, Pa./York County School of Technology) and Christy McLean (Jim Thorpe, Pa./Jim Thorpe) won a close match at No. 2 doubles, 6-4....
