Thoroughbreds steamroll Oneonta; Ross sets assist record
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – Phoebe Ross assisted on seven goals and finished with eight points in a record-setting 21-6 win over SUNY Oneonta on Sunday afternoon. The program also hosted its Morgan’s Message Game against the Red Dragons. Ross, who earlier this season tied the single-game assist record of six, registered her seventh helper on Allison Brewer’s third goal of the game with 4:41 remaining in the contest. Ross had five assists in the first half. Megan Lawler-2001 and Charlotte Riggs-1993, along with Ross, held the previous record. Skidmore led 8-1 after the first quarter and 13-2 at the break.…
