Wellesley Tennis Stopped by No. 44 Skidmore on Senior Day, 7-2
WELLESLEY, Mass. – No. 43 Wellesley College tennis fell 7-2 to No. 44 Skidmore College on Sunday at the Amy Batchelor ’88, Trustee, Tennis Courts. Prior to the game Wellesley acknowledged three seniors for their contributions to the Blue. The seniors honored were Annissa Mu (Saratoga, Calif.), Melinda Alviar (Indianapolis, Ind.) and Jennifer Fan (Vancouver, British Columbia). The Thoroughbreds (8-4 Overall) opened the match by taking two out of three points in doubles. Skidmore proceeded to win five of six singles matches over the Blue (6-4 Overall, 1-1 NEWMAC).
