Deehan Named A-10 Defensive Player of the Week

WASHINGTON, D.C. – George Mason women's lacrosse graduate student Meghan Deehan has been named the Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Week, announced by the league office on Monday. The honor is the second this season for Deehan and the fourth overall for the Patriots, as the goalkeeper was also tabbed Co-Defensive Player of the Week on April 2. Classmate Shannon Tuozzo earned a Co-Offensive Player of the Week nod on Feb. 26 and freshman Daniella Jimenez go the Rookie of the Week nod on March 25.
