Hammond made eight saves and allowed just four goals in Friday’s 12-4 Empire 8 win over fellow East Ave. foe Nazareth University. Hammond and St. John Fisher defense held Nazareth scoreless over 25 minutes of game action, as the Cardinals scored eight straight goals over that span to put the game away.
