Husker softball comes back to take a 7-6 win over Rutgers in eight innings

The Nebraska softball team concluded its three-game series against Rutgers on Sunday afternoon. The Huskers took the win and the series but in comeback fashion. Nebraska trailed 6-1 before scoring six unanswered runs to earn an eight-inning victory. The Huskers’ comeback emerged in the sixth inning, where they scored five runs. In the eighth, Peyton Cody drove in the winning run with a two-out RBI single. She also finished the game with two RBIs.
