Angel Jackson is the second JSU player selected in the WNBA in three years. Jackson State's center Angel Jackson was selected as the 36th overall draft pick in the third round by the reigning WNBA champions, Las Vegas Aces. She becomes the second player from Tomekia Reed's program to be drafted by a WNBA team. Jackson is a premier defender. The 6-foot-6 center transferred from USC to JSU in 2022, playing in 31 games with 26 starts the first season. During her career at Jackson State, the two-time SWAC Defensive Player of the Year averaged 9.6 points and 7.0 rebounds....
