SYRACUSE, NY – The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) announced its weekly awards on Monday afternoon, selecting catcher Katie Pyszczek (Elma, NY/St. Mary’s of Lancaster) of the Buffalo State softball team as the conference’s Athlete of the Week. This is Pyszczek’s first weekly award of her career. The freshman was an offensive star for Buffalo State across four games on Saturday and Sunday to lead the Bengals to a 4-0 weekend.
