Kiki Iriafen enters transfer portal: 5 possible landing spots

Notre Dame continues to ascend toward the level it was at during the Muffet McGraw era under Niele Ivey, going 28-7 in 2023-24 while reaching its third consecutive Sweet 16. The potential exists for the Fighting Irish to take another step forward next year and bringing in an incredibly talented piece like Iriafen, who Notre Dame also pursued while she was in high school, could make that happen. Notre Dame already has one of the top young talents in college basketball with freshman guard Hannah Hidalgo, and adding another scorer like Iriafen to pair inside with Maddy Westbeld would make the Fighting Irish hard to stop. Iriafen could also provide additional depth for a team that is likely losing Nat Marshall and KK Bransford, both of whom recently entered the transfer portal.
