Kiki Iriafen enters transfer portal: 5 possible landing spots

UConn reached its 23rd Final Four in program history this past season and remains a perennial national championship contender under Geno Auriemma. That alone probably makes a transfer to Storrs intriguing, but the Huskies might ultimately provide one of the best fits for Iriafen next season. UConn’s current roster is very guard-heavy and the Huskies are going to lose their most important frontcourt player from this past season, Aaliyah Edwards. As usual, Auriemma has a talented recruiting class coming in headlined by 6-foot-2 forwards Sarah Strong and Morgan Cheli. Both will likely play a role in UConn’s success next season, but adding an established veteran forward like Iriafen to pair alongside star guard Paige Bueckers would ultimately be a huge win for the program.
