Kuhne’s Three-Hit Shutout Salvages Split Against Carthage
WAUKESHA, Wis. – Carroll’s softball team split a doubleheader with Carthage Sunday afternoon, losing the first game 11-2 in five innings, before defeating the Firebirds 6-0 behind a gem of a game by Pioneer Pitcher Andrea Kuhne . In that win, Carroll (8-16, 2-4 CCIW) provided some early run support, scoring the game’s first run in the top of the first on a groundout that allowed Abby Curtis to score from third base.
