INDIANAPOLIS -- The Great Lakes Valley Conference announced Monday (April 15) that Lewis University freshman Jackson Bruno (Chicago, Ill./Notre Dame Prep) has been named GLVC Baseball Pitcher of the Week. Bruno came on in relief in the first game of a doubleheader Saturday (April 13) at Upper Iowa and earned the victory by throwing 6 2/3 scoreless innings, scattering seven hits, issuing one walk and five strikeouts as the Flyers won, 13-7. The Chicago, Ill. native is now 2-1 with a 1.95 ERA in 27 2/3 innings pitched in 14 appearances this season, all in relief. Lewis swept the Peacocks...
