Lion Women’s Golf sits in second at SLC Championships
NEW BRAUNFELS – The Texas A&M University-Commerce women's golf team is on a path to history as the Lions are in second place after the first round of the Southland Conference Women's Golf Championships at The Bandit Golf Club on Monday. The Lions shot a team score of 308 in Monday's round to sit in second place. Augusta, the defending conference champion, and an affiliate member of the SLC, has an 18-stroke lead over the Lions atop the leaderboard with a score of 290.
