Luna helps Mammoths hold off Springfield, 10-7

AMHERST, Mass . — Junior Tyson Luna imitated the great escape artist Harry Houdini Monday afternoon, wiggling out of a bases-loaded, one-out jam to help the Amherst College baseball team hold on to a 10-7 victory over visiting Springfiedld College on Memorial Field. The win improved the Mammoths record to 17-5 overall while the Pride fell to 14-13. Amherst will host M.I.T. Wednesday for its annual Pride Game.
