BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Southwest Minnesota State University baseball senior Chase McDaniel has been named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Player of the Week today following his record setting performance this week. McDaniel, a 6-foot-1, shortstop from Pahrump, Nev., batted .714 (15-of-21) with four home runs, a triple, a double, nine RBI, 10 runs scored and 30 total bases.
