Men’s Golf Turns In Season-Low 284 In Opening Round At Music City Invite

Ashland University's men's golf team turned in its sixth-lowest round since 1996-97 during the opening day of the Music City Invitational on Monday (April 15), as its score of 284 was good for fourth place in the 13-team tournament through 18 holes. The Eagles are just three shots behind first-round leader Tiffin (281), two shots behind second-place Drury (282), and a single stroke behind third-place Northwood (283). Fifth-year Logan Thomas turned in his best round of 2023-24, firing a four-under-par 68, which included seven birdies.
