Multi-Event Competitors Claim Two Wins at Brockport

BROCKPORT, NY – After completing half of their scheduled events on Sunday, five University of Rochester track and field athletes completed their multi-event competitions on Monday afternoon at Shriver Stadium at SUNY Brockport with exceptional results that ended in a pair of wins and three top-15 NCAA scores. In the women’s heptathlon competition, senior Ashley Heffernan and sophomore Julia Largett represented the Yellowjackets. On the men’s side, senior Aeden Angelone, junior Gabe Thyne and first-year Ashton Tokarski competed in the decathlon.
