Nye of Women’s Track and Field Named MAC Track Athlete of the Week

NEWTOWN, Pa. – Widener women’s track and field athlete Gabby Nye has been named the MAC Track Athlete of the Week, as announced by the conference office. At the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic, Nye placed 31st out of 65 athletes in the 5000-meter run. Her time of 17:32.52 was not only a personal best by nearly 20 seconds, but it also created a new Widener record by over 30 seconds.
