PROVIDENCE, R.I. - It was announced today (April 15) that softball's Jacque Harrington (Bedford, N.H.) and Alyssa Twomey (Warwick, R.I.) earned BIG EAST Weekly honors following their stellar performances over this past week. Harrington was named BIG EAST Player of the Week, while Twomey claimed Freshman of the Week accolades. The duo helped the Providence College softball team compile a 3-1 record last week, including a three-game sweep of BIG EAST foe DePaul. Harrington, a senior and co-caption for the Friars, finished the week with a .583 batting average, 1.000 slugging percentage and a .643 on-base percentage over four games....
