Now that John Calipari is out and Mark Pope is in, there’s a very real chance we’ll see the Kentucky Wildcats face Pitino’s St. John’s team in the near future. During his introductory press conference, Pope discussed potentially playing St. John’s. Now, Pitino has chimed in and says he’s game for a series that would see the Red Storm play at Kentucky next season, then face each other at Madison Square Garden the following year.
