Three Place in Top-7 in Heptathlon

BROCKPORT, NY – Sophomore Samantha Luba placed second overall to lead three members of the Nazareth University Women’s Track and Field team to finish among the top seven in the Heptathlon on the second day of competition at the Brockport Invitational and Multi Monday afternoon at Eunice Kennedy Shriver Stadium. Luba entered the day in second place and hit a personal best in the long jump with a leap of 5.09 meters (16′ 8 ½”) and then held off a late charge to keep her second place standing.
